“Wake Me Up” is an exciting new release from Hip Culture, the writing and recording project of Canadian songwriter Iggy Natoli. This uptempo track features a bright and sunny folk-pop arrangement, driven by a top-notch rhythm section. Acoustic guitars, mandolins and shimmering synths play overtop lively drums and percussion, all in support of lovingly layered female vocals that deliver lyrics of adoration, expressing transcendent love and capturing the abundant joy that accompanies such a feeling. Hip Culture’s “Wake Me Up” is an easy recommendation for pop/rock fans of all ages, thanks to its incredibly danceable rhythms, compelling vocals and stylish production.

Excellent production, outstanding mix. Gorgeous sound quality, amazing clarity and tonal balance. Fantastic energy and spirit on this track. Solid composition and song structure. Good pop chord progression, allows for compelling melodic content. Guitar and mandolin parts sound amazing. Bass has terrific tone. Drums cut through nicely, wonderful use of percussion throughout. Tremendous vocal performance, really sells this song. Absolutely love her sense of phrasing. Great backing vox production and arrangement. Lyrics are ideal for this pop music context; direct, simple and to the point with nice repetition. Overall this is a sensational composition with great musical interplay and depth, molded perfectly into a pop song form. It’s extremely danceable, easy to understand, and very well-produced. Should do well across a wide audience, very nice work all around!
